From beginning to end, this process has been seamless. Hurricane Home Solutions isn’t just a sales outfit, but also services the products they sell, as well as installs them. Dean was our sales representative and provided a fair quote and provided several options for home standby generators and the reasons for his recommendations. When I had a propane contractor selected, I called the office and they coordinated the installation date for me. That way the propane contractor and the installation team would be available on the same day. Depends on your home’s size, load, and which brand fits. We don’t quote averages because we’re not guessing about your house. The free assessment gives you an exact, all-inclusive number. Most customers finance starting around $139/month.
How long does installation take?
Most installs run one to three days on-site, depending on gas and electrical complexity. We handle permits and utility coordination before install day, so inspectors aren’t holding you up.
What brands do you carry?
Cummins, Generac, Kohler, Champion. Authorized dealer for all four, which is why we can compare them honestly instead of pushing one.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes. Most customers finance. Payments typically run $139–$350/month depending on system and term. Subject to credit approval.
Will it work with my gas or propane?
We assess your fuel setup during the visit. Anything that needs upgrading, we handle in-house. No separate gas contractor.
What’s included in the price?
Permits, electrical, gas line, pad, automatic transfer switch, startup, utility coordination, inspections, warranty registration, and homeowner education. All in.
What happens after install?

I already have a portable. What changes?
A portable buys you a fridge and a few lights. A standby runs the whole house automatically and you stop dragging anything out at 2AM. That’s the difference.
